Introduction

Have you ever wondered what the announcement type "prompt recording by telephone" is good for?

Announcements of this type can be updated over a telephone or can be adapted as required, for example for fault announcements.

see - Prompt Types

An announcement of this type is created as follows:

It is important that the announcement is never empty before it is overwritten or updated for the first time.

To make it easier for the employees of a fault location to speak the announcement, we show the following example routing using the routing application "Discuss announcements via telephone":

What is behind the individual objects?

The first object contains a simple greeting that prompts the caller to record a new greeting and could look like this

The next object is for the recording itself and can look like this, for example:

After recording, it is saved with the next object. The settings marked in yellow are important here so that the announcement is also overwritten.

see - Save Recording(s)

In order to check the quality of our freshly discussed announcement, we have it announced again.

Finally, you assign this routing application to a service number so that routing is activated by calling this service number and you can discuss frequently changing announcements yourself.

We wish you good luck!
