To create a routing application use the function Routing - Routing Applications in the main menu and click on New in the toolbar. In the form, enter the following data:
| Name | Give the application a representative name. |
Application Type | Different application types are available, depending on the configuration |
Test CLI | Provide the test CLI for calling the test version of the application. |
Name of First Version | Give the application a representative name. |
Set Active | Check this if the application should be immediately activated |
Set Test | Check this if the test version of the application should be immediately |
Use Save to save the data and return to the version control screen. Here, you can see all changes which have been made to the application, and set a particular version as active.
When you are programming an application, every time you save, a new version of the application is created, visible in the version control list. You can activate it for testing and renewed editing. Once you have created a “final” version of the application, you can clean up and delete versions you no longer require.
Alternatively to New, you can use Copy to copy an existing application. Choose the source application and provide a new name for the application.
