Sometimes it will not be possible to send or receive emails via a GMail account. Follow these steps to try and remedy the problem:
- Enable access for "less secure" apps - see https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps
Try the mail connector again. If it still does not work, then these additional steps might solve the problem:
- Go to this page: https://accounts.google.com/b/0/DisplayUnlockCaptcha and click Continue.
- Immediately try the connector again.
