Choose Texts - Long Texts in the main menu, to view a table of long texts in the system. Long texts are freely definable texts, that are used, for example, in emails. They exist in every language the system supports. You can edit these texts to adapt them to your requirements, however you cannot create new texts.
When long texts are used in emails, they can also contain variables.
Editing Long Texts
In the column Action you can Edit a long text.
If the option Translate is selected, this means that the text is tagged as requiring translation.
E-Mail Templates
If the Long Text is used for an email body template you can start the template with <!DOCTYPE html>
In this case the system considers the body format to be html, and the email format is set accordingly.
Note - you can add any html you require, including inline <style> elements to style the e-mail accordingly.
If the long text is used for an email body, it can begin with <!DOCTYPE html>. In this case, the text format is considered HTML, and the email format is set accordingly when the email is sent.
