Introduction

This page provides additional information regarding the behavior and possible configuration of the jtel ACD when the Starface PBX is being used. The configuration is found in the jtel ACD parameters as sysadmin.

Behavior, Use Cases and Examples

Changes for example in the Starface User Configuration will cause an Update-User Event to be sent to the jtel Starface Connector by Starface.

Following is a table describing some of the possible cases and their effect corresponding to a Case ID in the table above, if a CaseID is relevant to the case. Some cases do not correspond to a Case ID above, because none of the parameters influence the outcome of the case.

Updates on the current user information in Starface are only sent to jtel when a user is created, or a record about a user is changed. An update is not sent when a user is deleted, for example.

Add new Starface User to Starface Group


A new User will be created in the jtel users table and the PBX Users table will be updated with current information, if changes were made. The Login-ID in Starface will be the User UID in jtel

  • The Starface group must be associated with the jtel integration Module. If it is not, the parameters of this case are not fulfilled   
  • It is not enough to configure a phone number for the use. The Starface user must have a device configured, otherwise no acd agent will be created.
  • The PBX user entry will be created even if no device is configured
