Introduction

This page describes the default settings used to connect any SBC to the jtel ACD.

Defaults - General Information

Some information must be exchanged and configuration prepared on SBC and jtel side before an appointment can be made to test the SIP connectivity. Networking and Routing on SBC Side can be prepared if the jtel Telephony Server IP Address, as well as the ports which will be used are known. All required preparations can also be made on jtel side once this information is known.

Depending on the location and architecture of the system, the public IP Adress or internal IP Address will be used.

In jtel Cloud installations for example, a DNS-Address like ccustomer-tel.jtel.de will be configured by jtel and shared.

For On Premise installations, the internal IP-Address of the jtel Telephony Server will be used.

SBC IP AddressCustomer/Partner

Depending on the location and architecture of the system, the public IP Adress or internal IP Address will be used.

Number BlockCustomer/Partner

To configure the Trunk at jtel, the country code, area code and subscriber prefix are required. For example

Test NumberCustomer/PartnerA testnumber will be required for testing after the basic connection has been established

Defaults - SIP and RTP

Any firewalls that are traversed must be configured according to the agreed upon ports and IP Addresses

The default installation does not contain SIP-Registrations, but rather the use of SIP-Options.
