This can be navigation within a menu system (for example: “Press 2 to be connected to customer service.”) or to get or give data to and from callers. IVR dialogs can be used to route calls into the ACD. RuleCriteria, used to route calls. Rules are linked to events such as a full queue and are activated by time constraints and priority. CheckpointPoints in the call flow of the ACD at which the applicability of rules are checked for. Depending on the rule an action at a checkpoint may be initiated. Call FlowThe path of a call through the system. RoutingThe distribution of calls (incoming and outgoing) from callers to agents. Service NumberThe number callers use to contact the call center. Damit ist ein auf natürlicher Sprache basierter Dialog zwischen Anrufer und Service-Anbieter gemeint. Dieser kann zur Navigation in einem Menüsystem (Beispiel: "Drücken Sie 2 um mit dem Kundenservice verbunden zu werden.") oder zum Austausch von Informationen genutzt werden. Aus IVR-Dialogen kann eine regelbasierte Übergabe des Gesprächs in eine ACD erfolgen. Regel Kriterien, nach denen Anrufe verteilt und verarbeitet werden. Regeln werden an Ereignisse wie etwa eine volle Warteschleife geknüpft und werden anhand ihrer Priorität sowie ihres Gültigkeitszeitraumes aktiviert.
