Parameters govern how certain aspects of the system work as a whole. Most parameters are set globally, and cannot be overridden. Some parameters can be overridden by using the appropriate setting in a client or reseller account.
Parameters can be edited using the System Settings ... Parameters menu, by accessing the Edit function.

| Name | The name of the parameter. Most parameters are named using a "Dot" convention (like domain names). |
| Value | The current value of the parameter. |
| Standard Value | The standard value of the parameter, provided as an example. |
| Role | Under Role, you can see which role the change applies to. If it says system, it is a setting that applies system-wide. |
| Description | A description of what the parameter affects. |
| Action | Under the Action button, the parameter can be edited |
Some parameters require that the relevant components are restarted, or will be reloaded after a particular interval.
